The County Board of Trustees will now be known as the County Trustee Board, in line with the new POR Constitution coming out in April 2023 (more on this below.)
A Staff Performance Related Pay Policy was discussed and agreed by the County Trustee Board, with the addition of a Remuneration Committee who would make the decisions. Additionally, the Staff Annual Pay Review was discussed, agreed and ratified by the Board.
The County Treasurer confirmed that End of Year Figures have gone to the Auditors. There were further Financial discussions on the Heritage Budget, County Insurance costs and the Ferny Crofts Truck with options considered for its replacement or repair.
Cluster Reports generated questions from Districts about the request for a Quarterly Headcount of young people which has been implemented to better track member numbers throughout the year, to assist with budgeting and fees setting. Districts will be emailed re the thinking behind this, and it will be raised at the DC Conference in the Spring. The first Headcount will be due at the end of April.
The New Constitution will be outlined in POR in April, where any changes will be explained. These mostly relate to Trustees and Governance. District AGMs won’t have to approve the changes to the Constitution, so long as they adopt the standard Constitution.
The Growth & Development first quarter report for 2023 was presented to The Board with data on growth & retention.
GDPR updateconfirmed the number of County SARs and Data Breaches recorded since the last meeting. The County Office will be assisting Districts with GRPR by producing a Reference Document with templates, links to resources etc which will be presented at the County Conference. We will also be assisting the IOW County Commissioner with GDPR advice after being approached by them.
