The Board discussed and then Approved the Budget for 2023.
The Board Approved the New District name of Hawk for the merged Havant and Waterlooville Districts.
The New Regional Commissioner for SE England is James Palin, he hopes to make our County Conferences and AGM in 2023.
A budget for Inclusion Training has been made, lead by Sheridan O’Shea this will be used to train leaders on Inclusion and mental health.
Racial Equality across the County was discussed. Portsmouth have appointed a District Advisor to work with minority groups including the Hindu Community. This will be rolled out to other identified areas within Hampshire.
To get accurate numbers a new numbers reportingsystem for Districts will be put in place to get quarterly numbers, this will be managed by the County Office.
Cluster Reps have asked for CBoT Meeting Minutes to send round DCs and Cluster members, this is being done in a Summary form, uploaded to the Governance webpage and emailed to the Reps and DCs/Chairs.
The Board voted on the following Appointments:
William Holmes as County Advisor for 14-25 programme.
Daniel Hicken as County Safety Advisor.
The Board discussed the following appointment and agreed to ratify the following post at the County AGM.
Tom Bell as County Vice President
GDPR and Data protection update: We have received 2 new Subject Access Requests and 2 have logged minor data breaches this month. All were low risk and not notifiable.
A Growth and Development Impact Report was presented to The Board: This year has been focussing on training, shadowing, measuring retention, supporting groups and events. Due to staff leaving the true impact of the project is not yet being seen and recruitment will start in the New Year to fill those roles.
